Where jobs come from and how fresh they are

Updated

Straight from the employer

Every job on CareerAgent comes straight from the employer's own career site, including Indian hiring systems. We do not copy jobs from job boards or recruiters' reposts.

You can see every employer we cover, with the number of open roles at each, on Companies we index. If one you care about is missing, tell us on the Contact page. We add an employer once we can read its job listings reliably.

How fresh postings are

Postings are checked regularly. Each one shows how long ago it was posted, for example "3h ago" or "2d ago". Hover over it to see the exact date.

When jobs disappear

When a role closes on the employer's site, it is removed from CareerAgent too. If you open a link to a job that has since closed, you will see "This posting has closed or moved".

Reporting a wrong or dead job

Open the posting and press the flag (Report this posting). Choose a reason:

  • Dead link: the link is broken or leads nowhere;
  • Position closed: the role is filled or no longer taking applications;
  • Scam or spam: a fake company, a fee asked for, or a misleading listing;
  • Wrong details: the company, title, workplace type, salary or location is wrong.

You can add a note if you like, and we check every report. The flag turns green on postings you have reported, so you know you have already sent one.

Never pay anyone to apply for a job. A genuine employer does not charge candidates, so please report any posting that asks for money.
